Our darlings are three today!
I can scarce believe it. Last night, we sat together, on the cushy brown chair. One head on each shoulder. Soft hair fluffing my cheeks. O, I needed that. My arms full of my twins.
So much in my life has changed since they were born… I feel like a different person. I think that is what happens with big and radical, turn your life upside down changes. You have to find yourself again. And I will. I will.
But for now, that sweltering summer when I could hardly walk and I couldn’t eat… and I was bursting at the seams with babies… facing a surgery… that was me. And it is good to remember.
Today- we celebrate! With a Happy Birthday Song, And Banners… with Chocolate Cake and Chicken Nuggets. And I wipe some tears away. Happy Tears and Grateful Tears…and a little bit Regretful Tears.
Life is short. Cup the days.
So hard to capture her… busy, busy little one. The pictures with her big brother were taken on the day of her fifteen month wellness. A photo capture of my tall ones. They are the tallest of our children. Son- reaching almost at 6 feet 1 inch, and little girl- the size of a 2 year old. 🙂
I took the first photo when I suddenly noticed how alike their beautiful blue eyes are!
My darling is So Big! So big. Oldest and youngest. And I realized I can say that for both… as my son is now wearing pants the same length as his Dad. And my baby is fast catching up to her twin sisters.
This picture, here, below. Yeah… we were trying to get her to sit still on the brown chair for a picture! You can see how successful we were. But my, how we all admired her in her beautiful purple tutu. 🙂
Elenorah! Ten Months Old!
My hair is graying rapidly… and no doubt this little one has had her fair share in that continued development… 😉 The other day, I looked over at her while making dinner and noticed that she suddenly seemed taller. Her entire little face was beaming at me from over the side of her playpen. Hmmm. I then realized that she learned to climb up on the music box toy inside of it. See above picture for an example. Today, I tried valiantly to capture a true ten month photo of her (ah well, 10 1/2 month photo) and suddenly, without warning and effortlessly!, she climbed up on top of the Little People Dollhouse! Nine children and I have never had one like this. A climber. At 10 1/2 months. This is big news for our family. Then, later today, I found her…not napping. No. She was practicing walking in her playpen nap area. Hmmmm.
Ten Month Photo Post Up Next.
My littlest love turned 9 months on the 8th of December. She is sitting up all by herself, crawling, scooching, pushing up on her toes… and, most adorable of all-
greeting her loves with a breathy, “Hi! and Hey!” crowned with her beautiful, contagious smile.
Happy 9 Months and First Christmas, my littlest love.
