Ten Months Old!

I took the first photo when I suddenly noticed how alike their beautiful blue eyes are!
My darling is So Big! So big. Oldest and youngest. And I realized I can say that for both… as my son is now wearing pants the same length as his Dad. And my baby is fast catching up to her twin sisters.

This picture, here, below. Yeah… we were trying to get her to sit still on the brown chair for a picture! You can see how successful we were. But my, how we all admired her in her beautiful purple tutu. 🙂

Elenorah! Ten Months Old!

She keeps me on my toes….

My hair is graying rapidly… and no doubt this little one has had her fair share in that continued development… 😉 The other day, I looked over at her while making dinner and noticed that she suddenly seemed taller. Her entire little face was beaming at me from over the side of her playpen. Hmmm. I then realized that she learned to climb up on the music box toy inside of it. See above picture for an example. Today, I tried valiantly to capture a true ten month photo of her (ah well, 10 1/2 month photo) and  suddenly, without warning and effortlessly!, she climbed up on top of the Little People Dollhouse! Nine children and I have never had one like this. A climber. At 10 1/2 months. This is big news for our family. Then, later today, I found her…not napping. No. She was practicing walking in her playpen nap area. Hmmmm.

Ten Month Photo Post Up Next.

Seven Months!

It is with astonishment that I greet 7 months with our sweet Norah. I am astonished to report that she completely skipped size 6-9 month clothing. They are all too short. She is so long. She weighs 20 pounds, which is a record. She is following in the path of her oldest brother. I pray she will be long and lean like he is!

She has the most adorable way of putting her head down and dancin’ her little feet away when placed in her exersaucer, early in the a.m., with baby signing time helping form language connections in her ever active, growing brain. She gets so excited when she hears the music, she dances wholeheartedly. Precious.

I took pictures of the twins in this exact same dress at nine months old. Everywhere we go, all the health and medical professionals always comment about our amazing twins. They were 7pounds13 ounces and 8pounds2ounces at birth- as big as singleton babies and they have grown perfectly and sweetly. Linking their picture to evidence my beautiful tall baby girl. She is my amazing baby girl! It is hard not to feel like I have missed something! She is so big and so active. In fact, she is the most mobile baby we have ever had at this age, with Micah a close second. She loves to move and needs plenty of space! She is trying to crawl. She is trying to crawl!!!

Those slanty, untidy bookshelves in the background. Yeah. I increased the twins’ play space in the family room side of the house and I have realized messy bookshelves- well, they are a big pet peeve of mine! Time to trouble shoot that issue!

Trying to cup the spinning days. Lord, help me. Happy, happy Seven Months my darling.

6 Months Old…already??!

And my oldest sons remembered…

remember when the twins turned 6 months…

how we celebrated… what a big deal it was…6 months. I remember.

And now, my sweet littlest babe has turned six months. And she is so big. So, so big and so eager and watchful. So attentive to everything. So sweet. And I press her soft head against my check and I watch her as she rides around in the arms of doting siblings. And begins to blow raspberries and rolls around on the floor.  She multi- rolls and chews things! Advanced for one of our babies! 😉

Beloved.

Happy 6 Months Elenorah!!!

Back in Her Glasses Again

DSCN2070 DSCN2071

Baby Girl is in her third pair of glasses since her appointment in May. Her first two pairs she wore for a total of less than five days! So far, we are going strong with this pair- refurbished from the brother in the picture- who is also sporting new glasses. And as this post came to press- they just withstood their very first “manhandling” by her twin sister. The very twin who was found clutching the arm of the first two pairs of glasses. They withstood and still stand. I am choosing glasses protection over glasses on from wake-up to head down at this time. Learned a few lessons myself. 😉
