In Honor Of This Glorious, Truly Glorious Mountain Spring:
A New Poem and One from Before…
Cupped in His Grace,
~Rebecca~

That Spring Beauty
–it can take your breath
away.
Leave you rib-sucking deep
sweet, sweet
that mountain air
and how it carries
every whiff
of
new life promise swirling
in its
heady, heady
perfume.
How the colors flame gentle
new green, gold, pink light.
Life springs forth.
Dormancy can NOT keep her.
Inexorable, yet gentle,
She rises. Rises.
Eyes feast. Feast.
Feasting.
That color- that spring green,
those boughs of white and
I, I
greedy. Greedy.
Just want
more. More, More.
New Life.

Spring Day from April 25, 2010
That Spring beauty
-it can take your breath away.
Mountains rolling green.
Sunlight bright. Bright.
Puffy white clouds
gentle. Fluff-filled blue.
Dappled light
washes
dips
washes
rises.
Anoints golden sunlight.

Beautiful day.
Calls
me
to
itself.
Mountains call.
Rolling splendor.

Come out. Come out with me.
and
Be.

And how-
how cannot
just soak,
soak
in sweet,dripped light
rain-washed breeze.
These mountains-
This Spring day-
calling
out,
calling out
to me.
